Specialty Pharmacy Technician
Provide hands-on support to patients and pharmacists to ensure high-quality care and medication adherence. Ideal candidate is self-motivated and interested in growing within a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment.
Onsite in the pharmacy, Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret, enter, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review
- Clarify orders with pharmacists and clinicians as needed
- Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations and ensure proper medication handling (e.g., refrigerated or hazardous drugs)
- Prepare medications and supplies for patient delivery
- Manage inbound inquiries and conduct outbound adherence follow-ups
- Secure refills and resolve insurance or financial assistance issues
- Maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving medications
- Communicate with patients to support medication understanding and adherence
- Input and manage data, adjudicate claims, and track follow-ups
- Identify trends, resolve issues, and support process improvements
- Maintain confidentiality and stay current with industry knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need:
- 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience required, 2+ years preferred
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License Required, CPhT preferred.
- Applicant will commit to obtaining the required certification within a mutually agreed upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements.
- High school diploma or GED Required.
