QA Engineer

ShyftLabs is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge AI applications. You will be responsible for testing complex agentic AI systems, enterprise integrations, and data-driven products that serve Fortune 500 companies. This role requires expertise in both traditional software testing and specialized AI/ML testing methodologies to deliver robust, scalable products that meet enterprise-grade standards.

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for AI applications, including model performance, accuracy, and reliability testing.

Develop automated test frameworks for enterprise integrations, APIs, and real-time data processing systems.

Perform end-to-end testing of agentic AI workflows and complex multi-system integrations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to implement continuous testing practices and quality gates.

Test cloud-agnostic deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Conduct performance testing for high-throughput enterprise workloads and scalability requirements.

Work with Product Managers and Technical Leads to define acceptance criteria and testing requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

3+ years of QA engineering experience with strong fundamentals in software testing methodologies.

Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar tools) API testing expertise including REST APIs/GraphQL, Postman, and integration testing.

Database testing skills with SQL proficiency and experience testing data pipelines.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of distributed systems testing.

Programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation development.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.

Strong analytical skills with ability to identify edge cases and design comprehensive test scenarios.

Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and document findings clearly.
