Director of Maintenance

We’re hiring a Director of Plant Operations – a proactive and hands-on leader who ensures our community’s physical environment is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents, families, and associates.

• →Oversee all functions required to keep the physical facility in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitors
• →Negotiate and manage contracts with outside vendors and service providers
• →Support laundry and housekeeping operations as needed
• →Supervise maintenance staff and ensure timely completion of work orders
• →Respond to emergency maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
• →Collaborate with other departments to support community operations
• →May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital or institutional settings
• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs, general maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping procedures
• Preferred 1 year of experience supervising others, including coaching, performance feedback, and team collaboration
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets
