Production Line Supervisor

Role Summary The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily production and assembly operations, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, and leading shop-floor operators for smooth manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production and assembly activities. Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule. Allocate manpower based on production requirements. Monitor line productivity and reduce downtime. Maintain product quality standards. Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams. Monitor attendance, shift schedules, and workforce discipline. Enforce safety procedures and PPE compliance. Resolve line issues and ensure uninterrupted production. Train new operators and contract manpower. Maintain production, rejection, and shift reports. Reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage. Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S implementation. Maintain smooth material flow and avoid delays. Required Skills Team Handling & Leadership Production Line Management Communication Skills Problem-Solving Ability Basic MS Excel & Reporting Knowledge Preferred Skills Automotive Manufacturing Experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Understanding of Quality Systems Shop Floor Process Knowledge Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in production supervision, assembly line operations, or manufacturing environments.
