Automotive Panel Beater

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Panel Beater to perform vehicle body repairs, dent removal, panel alignment, chassis correction, and accident repair work across our dealership operations in Anuradhapura, Yakkala, and Ehiliyagoda. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards while supporting bodyshop productivity, repair quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality accident repair operations across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and electric vehicles (EVs) while ensuring efficient coordination within bodyshop and workshop operations.

• →Perform vehicle body repairs including dent removal, panel beating, body alignment, chassis correction, welding, panel replacement, and accident repair restoration activities.
• →Inspect damaged vehicles, assess repair requirements, and carry out repairs according to manufacturer standards and company procedures.
• →Use hydraulic equipment, welding tools, body repair systems, measuring equipment, and workshop tools safely and effectively.
• →Support repair preparation activities for painting and refinishing operations while ensuring repaired surfaces meet quality standards.
• →Coordinate with painters, workshop supervisors, service advisers, and technical teams to ensure smooth repair workflows and operational efficiency.
• →Support accident repair coordination, insurance-related repair activities, and customer repair timelines while maintaining accurate repair documentation.
• →Maintain bodyshop cleanliness, equipment upkeep, tool management, and workplace safety standards.
• →Contribute to workshop productivity, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high customer satisfaction and repair quality standards.

• 3–6 years of experience in automotive body repair and panel beating operations.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body structures, panel alignment, dent repair, and accident repair techniques.
• Experience in chassis repairs, body panel replacement, and structural correction work.
• Ability to use bodyshop tools, welding equipment, hydraulic tools, and repair equipment.
• Good understanding of bodyshop operational procedures and repair coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to repair quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bodyshop and workshop environment.
• Fluency in Sinhala; English communication skills are an advantage.

• Technical qualification or vocational training in automotive body repair or panel beating.
• Experience working in dealership bodyshop operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturer repair standards and bodyshop procedures.
• Experience handling passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and modern body repair systems.
• Exposure to insurance and accident repair coordination.
