SkyePoint Decisions is seeking an experienced Power Platform and Copilot Studio Developer to serve as the primary developer for an AI-powered email triage and security advisory capability within the Department of State. This role is responsible for the end-to-end build of a Power Automate email monitoring workflow, Microsoft Copilot Studio conversational agent, SharePoint knowledge base connectors, and ServiceNow ITSM bidirectional integration.

Responsibilities

  • →Design, build, and test Power Automate flows to monitor a shared Exchange Online mailbox, extract email content, classify request type, and route to appropriate Copilot Studio topics.
  • →Build and maintain Microsoft Copilot Studio conversational topics covering the top 20 advisory use cases including CVE remediation, patch guidance, legacy protocol elimination, and security hygiene. 
  • →Implement SharePoint Online knowledge base connectors using Azure AI Search for RAG-based retrieval against program playbooks, CISA KEV feed, NVD data, and vendor advisories.
  • →Implement ServiceNow ITSM bidirectional integration: ticket search/lookup by CVE, asset, or user data extracted from email; ticket context retrieval for AI prompt enrichment; ticket update with correspondence, AI-generated guidance, analyst name, and case ID.
  • →Build the program analyst human validation queue — the review and approve workflow that gates AI responses before delivery to users.
  • →Implement CUI data extraction and vaulting logic — stripping IP addresses, hostnames, and usernames before AI processing and preserving them in a separate audit log.
  • →Integrate auto-acknowledgment flow generating YYYY-NNNN case IDs and immediate responses to senders.
  • →Build the SharePoint case log that captures every inbound email, request classification, AI confidence score, response status, and resolution summary.
  • →Coordinate with the Azure OpenAI / AI Engineer on prompt context assembly and with the ServiceNow Developer on SNOW API integration.
  • →Support the Day 30, Day 60, and Day 90 demonstrations to program leadership.
  • →Produce technical documentation for handoff to DOS staff and steady-state operations. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps in enterprise environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) including topic design, entity extraction, and adaptive cards. 
  • Demonstrated experience building Power Automate flows against Exchange Online / Office 365 mail connectors. 
  • Experience with SharePoint Online data connectors, SharePoint Lists, and SharePoint document library integrations in Power Platform. 
  • Experience with REST API integrations from Power Automate including custom connectors and HTTP actions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in Microsoft 365 GCC High (Government Community Cloud) environments. 
  • Active Top Secret security clearance OR ability to obtain TS within program timeline (interim clearance accepted to start).
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM REST API including record search, read, and update operations from Power Automate or similar tools.
  • Experience with Azure AI Search (Cognitive Search) and vector embedding in GovCloud environments. 
  • Experience delivering solutions within 90-day rapid development timelines. 
  • Familiarity with CISA KEV, NVD APIs, and cybersecurity advisory content. 
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-400 or equivalent).

Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000

The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.
