Cross-Trained Dental Assistant / Front Desk

Prairie Walk Dental of Lisle is looking for a full-time Cross-Trained Dental Assistant who is also comfortable supporting our front desk team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both patient care and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office.

Position Details

Location: Prairie Walk Dental of Lisle
Position: Cross-Trained Dental Assistant / Front Desk
Status: Full-Time
Pay Range: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Saturday: Two Saturdays per month, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Please note: Hours may fluctuate based on office needs. Candidates must be available to work two evenings until 7:00 PM and two Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take dental X-rays (if certified)
• Support patient care and ensure a positive patient experience
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Check patients in and out
• Verify insurance and collect payments
• Assist with other front office duties as needed

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Front desk dental experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience with dental software is a plus
