The primary responsibility is to perform general upkeep of the gym and provide a clean environment for members.

Essential Functions:

Maintains a clean and safe environment for members.

Cleans gym facility & equipment in accordance with the cleaning checklist.
Ensures all areas are clean and litter free, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, windows, mirrors, cleaning/wipe down of cardio and weight equipment, functional training area, and bathrooms.
Picks up trash in all areas of the gym and dispose in dumpster.
Restock and replace all consumable items (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.)
Advises assistant anagers of needs to maintain facility: repairs needed, replacement of light bulbs, etc.
Gather lost and found items from throughout the gym.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 month's work experience in a cleaning/janitorial position.

Job Type: Part-Time Position. Approximately 5-7 hours per week (including weekends) during morning/early afternoon hours between 8:00am - 2:00pm.

Experience:

Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to follow written and oral directions and work independently.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with others.
Must have a basic understanding of chemicals used in housekeeping.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must have a friendly, positive attitude.
Must be responsible and reliable.
But be able to work independently
Must provide references.

Requirements: All applicants must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low and work at a constant pace, able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, ability to communicate with manager. Applicants must be detail oriented. Janitorial, custodial or general cleaning experience preferred.
