Senior Solution Engineer – Federal Public Sector

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Engineer based in Canberra to drive growth and technical strategy within the Australian Federal Public Sector. In this role, you will be dedicated to solving our government customers' most complex data challenges and closing large, impactful deals.

This is an office- and customer-facing role requiring high in-person contact with key stakeholders across Canberra (this is not a remote position). You will work hand-in-hand with our sales team and channel partners to understand customer requirements, build trusted executive relationships, deliver compelling value-based demonstrations, lead enterprise Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and ultimately secure new business.

As a Snowflake Senior Solution Engineer, you share our passion for reinventing the data space, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess the flexibility and drive to jump in and get things done. You are equally comfortable in both business and technical contexts, moving seamlessly between executive briefings and technical deep-dives.

• Broad experience with enterprise-scale Database and Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud platforms (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).

• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Ability to perform deep discovery of a customer’s architectural framework and map it to Snowflake’s Data Architecture.
