The US COO will be responsible for establishing, overseeing and continuously enhancing the operating framework supporting SG Forge US regulated stablecoin activities in the US.
The role is a critical leadership position within the US stablecoin issuer and will play a central role in designing, implementing and scaling the operational model, governance framework and operating infrastructure required to support a regulated stablecoin business.

Stablecoin operations
•    Own and manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of the stablecoin issuer.
•    Oversee and supervise stablecoin minting and burning activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to approved procedures.
•    Coordinate operational execution across clients, blockchain infrastructure provider, banking partners and internal stakeholders.
•    Ensure operational readiness and resiliency across multiple blockchain networks and digital asset infrastructures.

Treasury and reserve management
•    Oversee reserve management activities supporting stablecoin issuance and redemption.
•    Manage daily monitoring and reconciliation of stablecoin reserves and collateral assets.
•    Implement control frameworks supporting safeguarding, valuation and reporting of reserve assets.
•    Monitor reserve adequacy and liquidity requirements associated with business growth.

Blockchain and digital asset operations
•    Manage operational crypto balances required for blockchain activities, including gas fees and transaction processing.
•    Oversee wallet management processes and operational controls around digital asset movements.
•    Ensure robust operational monitoring of blockchain transactions and network activity.
•    Maintain procedures supporting incident management, escalation and business continuity.

Risk, controls and operational resilience
•    Establish and maintain a strong LOD1 control framework.
•    Execute operational actions and interventions resulting from LOD2 oversight, including blacklist implementation, account restrictions and other control-related activities.
•    Design and implement resilient operational procedures and governance structures (e.g. access management).
•    Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Reporting
•    Produce operational, treasury, reserve and business activity reporting for management, governance committees and regulators.
•    Develop operational KPIs, service level metrics and management dashboards.

Business build-out and strategic development
•    Serve as a key member of the SG Forge US leadership team.
•    Contribute to the design and implementation of the US operating model.
•    Work closely with SG Forge teams in France to align operational standards, controls and best practices.
•    Collaborate across legal, compliance, risk, technology, finance and commercial teams to ensure scalable and compliant growth.
•    Contribute to strategic planning and the expansion of SG Forge US digital asset activities.

SG Forge develops and operates institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure, including regulated stablecoins, tokenized securities and blockchain-enabled financial market solutions. As part of a leading global banking group, SG Forge combines the trust, compliance standards and financial expertise of Societe Generale with the innovation potential of distributed ledger technology.
The US business is focused on accelerating adoption of EURCV and USDCV among institutional market participants and supporting the transition toward next-generation digital financial markets. Working closely with teams across Europe and the United States, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the use of regulated stablecoins across payments, treasury, capital markets and decentralized finance applications.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have: 
•    10+ years of experience in financial services operations, capital markets operations, broker-dealer operations, fintech or banking.
•    Demonstrated hands-on operational experience managing critical infrastructure, payment flows, treasury functions or digital asset operations. 
•    Experience supporting digital asset businesses, crypto infrastructure providers or blockchain-based financial services.
•    Deep understanding of operational processes associated digital assets
•    Strong knowledge of operational risk management principles and control frameworks. 
•    Proven ability to design, implement and scale operational infrastructures from the ground up. 
•    Experience establishing policies, procedures, controls and governance frameworks within regulated environments. 
•    Language(s) English

Nice to Have:
•    Experience within a regulated banking institution, trust company or broker-dealer.
•    Knowledge of stablecoin regulatory frameworks, blockchain infrastructure and digital asset market structure.
•    Experience with reserve management and collateral oversight for digital asset or financial products.
•    Familiarity with blockchain networks, smart contract operations and digital asset custody solutions.
•    Experience interacting with regulators, auditors and control functions.
•    Prior experience working in an international organization and coordinating across global teams.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
