Societe Generale Corporate Investment Bank is the third largest corporate and investment bank in the Euro zone. It is an Investment Bank with three primary areas of focus; capital markets, derivates products and structured finance. Societe General is present in over 33 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
This position is with the Specialized Financing Middle Office Team (SFM) that manages the Agency Team responsibilities in support of GLBA business lines. The Agency Team develops relationships with clients, lenders and internal stakeholders (i.e. Distribution Credit Solutions (DCS), Credit Portfolio Management (CPM), Transaction Management & Life Cyle Management teams). The role is highly visible and will grow with the Originate to Distribute model at Societe Generale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as a point of contact for the Agency team on new deal closingsm,amendments and distribution
• Prepare and complete the Agency Team Closing Checklist.
• Management of deals throughout life of transaction (i.e. amendments, waivers, terminations)
• Monitor all drawdown activity to ensure sufficient availability, review borrowing request notice, Borrowing Base report & related documents (i.e. Borrowing Base Certificate).
• Monitor covenant escalations for all Agency deals.
• Collaborate with the Transaction Management and Life Cycle Management teams
• Manage client requests and ensure swift resolution.
• Manage Agency deal sites on Debtdomain.
• Assist with the build out of the Agency Team within the Specialized Financing Middle Office Team.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required/Must have:
• Excel (Advanced)
• Microsoft Office
• High level of accuracy
Desired/Plus:
• Knowledge of Capital Markets including prior experience reviewing Credit Agreements, Fee Letters, Assignment Agreements
• Understanding of the Loan IQ operating system
• Experience using third party document repositories (i.e. Debtdomain, Syndtrak, Intralinks) including Agency functions within Debtdomain

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Required/Must have:
• Three to five years experience in financial operations

• Work experience in Operations or related field a plus

• Bachelor’s degree

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
