• Diriger et exécuter une gamme diversifiée de tâches d'ingénierie telles que la qualification des matériaux, supporter des initiatives de réduction des coûts, la résolution de problèmes de non-conformité des pièces, les problèmes en production et la gestion des changements de matériaux chez les fournisseurs au sein de l'équipe d'ingénierie des matériaux et des procédés.
• Diriger l'élaboration des plans de test, travailler avec les laboratoires internes et externes, analyser les résultats et examiner/approuver les rapports de test.
• Soutenir la rédaction, la révision  et l'approbation des spécifications des matériaux et des processus de finition et la bibliothèque de Produits Qualifiés Associés.
• Examiner et approuver les dessins techniques et la documentation des modifications.
• Soutenir les projets d’innovation et les activités de re-conception, enquêter sur les nouvelles réglementations environnementales ayant un impact sur les technologies de finition.
• Gérer des problèmes complexes, prendre des décisions techniques difficiles et fournir des mises à jour régulières à la haute direction.
• Diriger et participer aux initiatives d'optimisation des processus, d’amélioration continue, et de réduction des coûts.
• Apporter une expertise technique dans les domaines des métaux, traitements de surface, polymères, revêtements, finitions de protection, sellerie, cuir, menuiserie et inflammabilité intérieure.

• Lead and perform a diversified range of engineering tasks such as leading material qualifications, supporting cost reduction initiatives, solving part non-conformity issues, production line problems and managing supplier material changes as part of the Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering team.
• Lead development of test plans, work with internal and external laboratories, analyze results and review/approve test reports.
• Support writing, review & approval of Materials & Processes Specifications for Completions and associated Qualified Product Library.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and change documentation.
• Support innovation projects and re-design activities, investigate new environmental regulations impacting Completions.
• Handle complex issues, make challenging technical decisions and provide regular status updates to upper management.
• Lead and participate in process optimization, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise in the domains of metallics, surface treatments, polymers, coatings, protective finishes, upholstery, leather, woodworking and interior flammability.

• You have a bachelor degree in Materials, Mechanical or Chemical engineering from an accredited university.
• You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as M&P in an aerospace/military production environment.
• You have significant knowledge on aircraft interior materials and processes such as surface treatments, coatings, protective finishes, leather, upholstery, woodworking etc.
• You are knowledgeable about typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as CMH-17, MIL specs, Federal regulations, ASTM, ISO and SAE specifications.
• You have strong knowledge about flammability requirements according to FAR 25 regulations.
• You are proficient in engineering design principles and reviewing drawings.
• You have excellent organizational and project planning skills.
• You are adept at solving engineering problems in a high-pressure environment and can deal with complex issues quickly and independently.
• You have excellent communication skills in English and French (written and oral).
• You must be able to work in a team environment and interact constantly with Senior Management, Professionals and Technicians from other value stream functions (Methods, Quality, Logistics etc.)
• You are proficient with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
