We manage retail shopping centers and triple-net tenants across the country. We're lean, fast, and focused on growth—with high expectations and high autonomy. That’s why this role matters. You’ll be the operational engine keeping our books tight, our tenants current, and our vendors happy. We’re looking for someone who can own the full accounting cycle on the AR side—and streamline it using Rent Manager and like a pro.
This is more than a back-office gig. We want someone who takes pride in proactive communication, follows processes without losing sight of improvements, and thrives in an environment where details are the big picture. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input all income and expenses into Rent Manager with accuracy and proper coding
- Collect rent payments and deposit into the correct accounts (manual and automated)
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly and resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Generate monthly financial reports including rent rolls, P&Ls, and balance sheets
- Prepare CAM reconciliations and year-end tenant summaries across the portfolio
- Coordinate with CPA or accounting firm on tax prep, audits, and 1099 filings
- Track property budgets, monitor variances, and raise flags when things go off course
- Set up new vendors with proper compliance documentation and payment info
- Set up new properties and tenants in Rent Manager, ensuring everything is correct from the jump.
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
You’ll Succeed Here If You:
- Are fluent in Rent Manager
- Have at least 3 years of AR experience in commercial real estate or property management
- Can spot a $0.06 error in a 12-page invoice—and care enough to fix it
- Think clearly, write crisply, and follow up reliably
- Know how to thrive in a remote role (we trust you, but we expect results)
- Are systems-oriented, not just task-oriented—you think like a builder, not just a doer
- Can manage multiple properties, multiple deadlines, and keep calm under pressure
Bonus Points
- Experience managing NNN reconciliations, CAM charges, or rent escalations
- Familiarity with tools like Zego, AvidXchange, and Google Workspace
- You’ve helped implement new systems or processes across teams
- Worked with or managed offshore accounting support
- You secretly love spreadsheets (and you're proud of it)
