Our client is a leading provider of professional commercial cleaning and janitorial services, helping businesses maintain clean, healthy, and professional work environments. As the company continues to expand its client base, they are seeking an Appointment Setter to generate qualified sales opportunities and support the growth of their field sales team.
The Appointment Setter will play a key role in driving business development by identifying qualified prospects, conducting strategic outreach, researching new market opportunities, and scheduling appointments for the field sales team.
This is more than a traditional cold-calling position. The ideal candidate will take a strategic approach to prospecting by researching target accounts, managing CRM data, and building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. The successful candidate is proactive, competitive, and enjoys hunting for new business.
Responsibilities

Conduct outbound outreach to prospective commercial clients

Identify qualified decision-makers and schedule appointments for the field sales team

Build relationships with prospective clients through professional communication

Follow up consistently with prospects to maximize appointment conversion

Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities

Research and identify high-value businesses within assigned territories

Develop targeted outreach strategies rather than relying solely on mass cold calling

Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments

Continuously build and refine prospect lists to support sales growth

Support territory expansion through proactive lead generation

Build, organize, and maintain accurate customer records within HubSpot
-
Update lead statuses, notes, and appointment outcomes
-
Track prospect activity and maintain clean CRM data
-
Assist with pipeline reporting and opportunity management
-
Ensure all customer interactions are properly documented

Research target industries and businesses

Identify potential commercial cleaning opportunities

Gather relevant company information to improve outreach effectiveness

Monitor market trends and competitor activity

Provide sales leadership with market intelligence and prospect insights
Requirements

Previous experience in B2B sales or appointment setting

Experience selling commercial services or facility-related solutions
