The Buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for critical industrial components, raw materials, and finished goods essential to our manufacturing operations. This role is strategic and hands-on, requiring expertise in global sourcing, vendor negotiation, supply chain risk mitigation, and ensuring material availability to meet strict production schedules.
Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of key suppliers, focusing on long-term relationship development and performance tracking across quality, delivery, and cost.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new domestic and international vendors for technical components, electrical parts, and raw materials used in industrial solutions.

Conduct supplier performance reviews and collaborate on corrective actions when necessary.

Oversee the purchase requisition process, issue purchase orders (POs), and monitor order progress to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Conduct strategic price negotiations and manage contracts, including annual pricing agreements and long-term supply commitments.

Communicate regularly with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies, delays, or changes.

Partner with Operations and Planning teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Monitor global supply chain trends, lead times, and geopolitical risks to develop contingency strategies and prevent production disruptions.

Support cost-saving initiatives related to inventory optimization and material planning.

Ensure all procured materials meet technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards required for electrical and telecom infrastructure products.

Address invoice issues, coordinate material returns, and manage rework processes with suppliers.

Maintain compliance with international trade regulations and internal procurement policies.
Requirements

4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or buying within a manufacturing, electronics, industrial components, or similar technical environment.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and quality requirements for electrical components or power systems.

Demonstrated success in price negotiation, contract management, and vendor performance improvement in a B2B environment.

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement, inventory control, and PO processing.

Experience managing a complex global supply chain, including international logistics, freight management, and basic customs compliance understanding.
This is a full-time remote position requiring strong organizational skills and continuous coordination with global manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams.
