Role:  Marketing Assistant

Priority Location: South Africa and Latin America

Working Hours: 9AM - 5PM (Mon - Fri) UK time

Salary Range: $1,500 - $2,000 USD ($) per month

About the Role:

They’re hiring a proactive Marketing Assistant / Operator to support execution across multiple client accounts.

 

The ideal candidate will take ownership of work end-to-end, think independently, and contribute ideas, not just follow instructions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Content & Creative

• Create social media content (captions, carousels, posts)
• Use design tools and AI to produce high-quality assets
• Collaborate with creatives (video, photo, editing)

 

Marketing Operations

• Manage links, automations, and campaign workflows
• Troubleshoot basic platform or system issues
• Ensure smooth execution across client accounts

 

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance metrics
• Identify insights and suggest improvements
• Support campaign optimisation

 

Task & Workflow Management

• Manage multiple tasks across clients
• Coordinate via messaging platforms (e.g. WhatsApp)
• Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met

 

Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements
• Use AI tools to increase speed and quality of output

 

Required Qualification & Skills:

• 2–4+ years in marketing, social media, or digital operations
• Strong communication skills (clear, confident, proactive)
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or similar
