We are seeking a Customer & Technical Success Manager with strong experience in referral and affiliate marketing. This role combines customer success, technical implementation, account management, and digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with clients, optimizing referral and affiliate campaigns, troubleshooting technical issues, and helping businesses maximize growth through referral programs.

Responsibilities

  • Guide new customers through platform onboarding and campaign setup.
  • Assist clients with integrations across various tools and platforms, including CRMs, marketing automation tools, and e-commerce systems.
  • Provide technical support for custom workflows and implementation requirements.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and communicate customer feedback.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Track customer interactions, objectives, and outcomes within the CRM.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients build and optimize referral and affiliate programs.
  • Provide recommendations on campaign structure, incentive models, and growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and increase referral-driven revenue.
  • Monitor customer health and engagement metrics.
  • Develop and execute retention strategies to maximize customer success and long-term value.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and evolving business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing referral or affiliate marketing programs across multiple businesses, clients, or agency environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, and growth strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, CRMs, integrations, and analytics platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts while driving measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with performance-based goals tied to customer retention, expansion, or churn reduction.
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge and/or API experience.
  • Experience supporting both online and offline business models.
  • Previous experience working with referral, affiliate, or partner marketing software platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a "figure-it-out" mentality.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
