About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a highly creative, performance-driven Ecommerce Creative Designer who understands how to build visual content that not only looks exceptional, but also drives engagement, conversion, and revenue.
This is not a traditional graphic design role. We are looking for someone who thinks like both a designer and a marketer — someone who understands DTC ecommerce, consumer psychology, paid social creative, retention marketing, and modern digital storytelling.
You will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and marketing creative across email, paid social, organic social, Shopify storefronts, product launches, and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving ecommerce environments and can produce high-quality creative quickly without sacrificing brand consistency or performance.

- Design engaging creative assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms
- Create static graphics, carousels, stories, promotional assets, GIFs, and short-form video content
- Develop creative for both organic social campaigns and paid advertising initiatives
- Design mobile-first assets optimized for performance marketing and conversion
- Collaborate with the marketing team on ad concepts, hooks, creative testing, and campaign iterations
- Stay current on DTC trends, platform best practices, and evolving consumer behavior
- Design visually compelling, conversion-focused email campaigns in platforms such as Klaviyo
- Build creative for:
- Product launches
- Promotions and seasonal campaigns
- Retention and lifecycle flows
- Abandoned cart and customer nurture sequences
- Optimize layouts and visuals for mobile-first ecommerce experiences
- Collaborate closely with marketing and ecommerce teams to align creative with campaign objectives and revenue goals
- Design homepage banners, collection graphics, landing page assets, and promotional web creative
- Support ongoing updates and merchandising within Shopify
- Create digital assets for product launches and promotional campaigns
- Ensure visual consistency across website, email, and social touchpoints
- Help improve the overall customer journey through thoughtful and conversion-focused design
- Edit photos and videos for digital campaigns and social media content
- Resize and adapt creative across multiple platforms and ad formats
- Assist with campaign ideation, creative brainstorming, and visual storytelling
- Support marketing initiatives tied to promotions, product launches, retention, and acquisition
- Work cross-functionally with ecommerce, marketing, and product teams to execute campaigns efficiently
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and emerging creative technologies to improve workflow efficiency and production speed
- Use AI-assisted workflows for:
- Creative ideation
- Copy generation
- Content planning
- Asset variation creation
- Creative optimization
- Stay informed on evolving AI and ecommerce marketing technologies
Requirements
~1 min read- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce design, digital marketing design, or DTC creative production
- Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Ecommerce creative
- Paid social assets
- Email marketing design
- Digital campaigns
- Social content
- Strong understanding of DTC/ecommerce marketing and performance-driven creative
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience creating mobile-first creative optimized for paid social platforms
- Strong understanding of typography, branding, layout, and visual storytelling
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have
