We are looking for an HR Generalist who is highly organized, detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable working with both people and data. This person will be an important part of the day-to-day People Operations function, helping us keep our employee information accurate, our systems organized, our reporting reliable, and our HR processes running smoothly.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being behind the scenes making sure everything works. The Role
The HR Generalist will support the Director of Human Resources across HR operations, employee data management, systems administration, reporting, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
You will help ensure that our HR systems and employee information are accurate and up to date, while also turning people data into useful reports and insights for the HR team and leadership.
You don't need to have every answer on day one. We are looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, analytical, and willing to dig in to understand how things work and make them better.
What You'll Own
HR Systems & Data Management
Own the accuracy, organization, and day-to-day maintenance of our people's data and HR systems.
● Manage and maintain employee information across our HR systems, including Rippling, Notion, and other People-related platforms
● Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and updated throughout the employee lifecycle
● Manage employee changes including new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leaves, and departures
● Conduct regular audits of employee data and systems to identify and correct discrepancies
● Maintain organized and confidential employee documentation
● Help improve how we organize, track, and manage employee information ● Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate repetitive work, and improve data accuracy
HR Reporting & People Data
Partner closely with the HR Director to turn employee data into clear and useful information.
● Prepare regular HR reports and people metrics for the HR Director and leadership team ● Maintain and update HR dashboards and reporting trackers
● Pull and analyze data related to headcount, turnover, hiring, retention, attendance, compensation, PTO, and other people metrics
● Help identify trends or inconsistencies in employee data
● Support the HR Director with ad hoc reporting and analysis
● Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and easy to understand
● Help build better ways to track and measure People team goals and KPIs People Operations
Help keep the employee lifecycle organized and running smoothly from hire through departure.
● Support onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure all required steps are completed
● Maintain employee files and required documentation
● Support benefits administration and employee changes
● Assist with PTO, leave, and other employee administration
● Support payroll processes by ensuring employee data and changes are accurate and communicated on time
● Help track employee status changes and ensure systems are updated accordingly ● Respond to employee questions related to HR processes, systems, and documentation ● Partner with the People team to make sure employees have a smooth and consistent experience
Compliance & HR Administration
Help the HR Director keep everything organized and on track with our HR requirements.
● Maintain compliance trackers and calendars for required HR activities ● Help ensure required employee documentation is completed and maintained ● Support audits and compliance reviews
● Track required trainings, acknowledgements, certifications, and other employee requirements
● Help monitor compliance with company policies and HR processes
● Maintain accurate records related to employee relations matters, corrective actions, and other confidential HR documentation
● Stay organized around deadlines and follow-ups so important HR requirements don't fall through the cracks
● Partner with the HR Director on policy updates, documentation, and compliance initiatives
Process Improvement
Help us continuously make People Operations better.
● Document HR processes and create clear SOPs and internal guides ● Look for opportunities to improve how information flows across HR systems ● Help identify gaps in our current processes and recommend practical solutions ● Support HR projects and special initiatives led by the HR Director
● Help implement new HR tools, systems, and processes as the company grows ● Bring structure and organization to areas that may not yet have a clear process
What We're Looking For
● 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, HR Operations, or a related field Strong experience working with HR systems, employee data, and administrative processes
● Highly organized with strong attention to detail
● Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting, and data
● Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
● Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information
● Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee information
● Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities
● Naturally curious and interested in understanding how systems and processes work
● Clear and thoughtful communicator
● Comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask questions
● Someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and keeping things organized
You'll Stand Out If You Have
● Experience with Rippling or another HRIS
● Experience building HR reports or dashboards
● Experience supporting HR compliance or audits
● Experience in a growing company where processes are still being built ● Strong Google Workspace skills
● Experience with Notion or similar workflow/documentation tools
● An interest in HR analytics and people data

As we continue to grow, our People Operations function needs to grow with it. Accurate data, organized systems, strong processes, and compliance aren't always the most visible parts of HR, but they are what allow everything else to work.
This role will help create the foundation that allows our People team to move faster, make better decisions, and support our employees more effectively.
