We are a boutique interior design and architecture studio specializing in luxury residential interiors across the United States. Our firm creates timeless, highly customized spaces defined by exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful detailing, and elevated client experiences.
While luxury residential design is our primary focus today, we are actively expanding into hospitality, private aviation, and yacht interiors. As our firm rapidly scales, we are looking for a talented designer who wants to contribute to bespoke, high-caliber projects while growing alongside an ambitious, design-driven team.
We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Interior Designer to support the design and execution of luxury residential projects nationwide.
In this role, you will balance creative vision with precise technical execution, supporting projects from initial concept through to final installation. You will work closely with the firm's leadership while seamlessly collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, fabricators, and vendors to bring custom residential spaces to life.
Position Trajectory: This role begins on a part-time basis with a direct pathway to transition into a full-time, long-term position as our project volume continues to expand.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Concept to Installation: Design high-end residential interiors across all project phases, maintaining high design integrity throughout.
- FF&E Sourcing & Specification: Source and select furnishings, lighting, materials, antiques, artwork, accessories, and bespoke pieces.
- Custom Millwork & Space Planning: Develop thoughtful interior architecture solutions, including custom kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and bespoke millwork.
- Presentations: Prepare comprehensive design presentations, finish boards, and physical/digital schemes.
- Construction Drawings: Produce detailed construction documentation packages, including floor plans, interior elevations, cabinetry details, and specifications.
- Drawing Production: Create and revise technical drawings in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Procurement Management: Oversee purchasing workflows, specs, and order tracking utilizing Studio Designer.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate directly with architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, suppliers, and fabricators.
- Project Management: Track deliverables and manage documentation across multiple active luxury residential projects simultaneously.
- Client Engagement: Participate in internal design reviews and progressively take on expanded client-facing communication.
- 5–8+ years of professional interior design experience, with a heavy emphasis on luxury residential interiors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Portfolio: A refined portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end residential projects, interior architecture, and custom detailing.
- End-to-End Execution: Proven track record of taking projects seamlessly from initial concept through site execution and white-glove installation.
- Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of space planning, material/finish properties, custom millwork construction, and residential lighting design.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in documentation, scheduling, specification writing, and project organization.
- Communication: Flawless written and spoken English communication skills; highly comfortable collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Required: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Studio Designer
- Preferred / Advantageous: Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite
- Work Setup: 100% Remote (Must have a dedicated setup and reliable high-speed internet).
- Collaboration Hours: Must provide at least 4 hours of direct overlap between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Eastern Time (EST).
- Note: The core team generally operates between 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST, offering flexible hours outside the mandatory collaboration window.
