Salary: $3,000 – $4,500 per month

We are seeking a technically strong IT Manager to serve as the sole technology leader for a growing real estate investment and development platform. This is a hands-on, full-stack technology role, responsible for managing the company’s entire technology ecosystem, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, automation, AI tools, system integrations, and internal support.

This position will work directly with executive leadership and play a critical role in building a scalable, secure, and automated technology environment that supports acquisitions, investor operations, construction management, and portfolio administration.

The ideal candidate is highly proactive, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating as the primary technology owner in a fast-growing organization.


Responsibilities

  • Implementing process automation across departments

  • Maintaining an automation roadmap prioritized by business impact

  • Develop workflows using tools such as:

    • Power Automate

    • Zapier / Make

    • CRM workflow automation

    • AI APIs and integrations

    Deliver periodic internal briefings on emerging AI capabilities and potential business applications.


    Own the organization’s technology integration architecture.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Managing integrations across SaaS platforms

    • Designing secure API connections

    • Maintaining documentation of system data flows

    • Enforcing single source of truth (SSOT) for operational systems

    Conduct periodic data integrity audits to ensure accuracy across platforms.


    Implement and enforce enterprise-grade security practices including:

    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across all systems

    • Role-based access control

    • Endpoint protection and device security

    • Incident response planning

    • Backup and disaster recovery procedures

    Conduct security training and phishing simulations to improve organizational awareness.

    Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.


    Manage all technology provisioning for employees.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Hardware provisioning and configuration

    • Account creation across systems

    • Security setup including MFA and password management

    • IT orientation for new hires

    Ensure immediate revocation of system access during employee offboarding.


    Maintain a comprehensive inventory of:

    • Software licenses

    • Subscription renewals

    • Vendor contracts

    Conduct periodic reviews to optimize usage and eliminate unused licenses.

    Evaluate new technology vendors and complete security assessments prior to procurement.


    Design and develop internal tools and dashboards to support operations, including:

    • Deal pipeline tracking

    • Portfolio performance dashboards

    • Construction and project tracking tools

    • Investor pipeline reporting

    Follow development best practices including version control, staging environments, and code documentation.


    Serve as the primary IT support contact for all internal users.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Troubleshooting systems and applications

    • Managing support tickets and issue tracking

    • Maintaining internal documentation and knowledge base

    Ensure timely resolution of issues based on internal service level standards.


    Provide strategic guidance on the organization’s technology roadmap.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Evaluating new technologies in AI, PropTech, and FinTech

    • Planning for infrastructure and system scalability

    • Identifying automation opportunities across business functions

    • Supporting leadership with technology strategy and planning


    Requirements

    • Experience working with real estate, private equity, or financial services companies

    • Microsoft certifications

    • Experience building AI agents or automation workflows

    • Familiarity with CRM systems and investor management platforms

    • Experience with analytics and reporting tools

    • Spanish language skills (optional)


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

    • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience across infrastructure, cloud administration, application development, and cybersecurity

    • Experience operating as the primary IT owner in a small or mid-sized organization

    • Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments at an organizational level


    • Exchange Online

    • Teams administration

    • SharePoint Online

    • Entra ID / Azure AD

    • Power Automate

    • Intune / device management

    • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot

    • Ability to build automation workflows and AI-driven processes

    • Experience integrating AI APIs into business workflows

    Experience with at least two of the following:

    • JavaScript / TypeScript

    • Python

    • C# / .NET

    • React / Next.js

    • Node.js

    • Azure or AWS experience

    • DNS configuration

    • SSL certificates

    • Web hosting and CDN management

    • MFA implementation

    • Endpoint security

    • Incident response planning

    • Backup and disaster recovery

    • SQL

    • Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

    • API integrations and data synchronization


    • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

    • Strong documentation and process design skills

    • Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders

    • Highly proactive and self-directed

    • Strong vendor and technology evaluation experience


    This role will evolve as the company grows.

    Initially, the IT Manager will operate as a solo technology leader responsible for all systems. As the organization expands, the role may grow into a technology leadership position overseeing additional IT and development staff.
