Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive Network & Systems Administrator to oversee, optimize, and secure our enterprise IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be the backbone of our technology environment, managing everything from cloud architecture (Microsoft 365/Azure) and robust network ecosystems (Cisco Meraki/Ubiquiti) to comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities

Administer & Maintain: Monitor and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, specifically Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and Ubiquiti networking solutions.

Troubleshoot: Resolve complex LAN, wireless, and internet connectivity issues across distributed multi-site environments.

Optimize: Monitor network performance, security, and availability; implement timely network upgrades, patches, and industry best practices.

M365 Ecosystem: Fully support and administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.

Identity & Access Management: Manage Microsoft Entra ID, overseeing user provisioning/deprovisioning, group management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.

Azure & Licensing: Support and administer Microsoft Azure resources, services, and tenant licensing.

Threat Mitigation: Monitor security alerts and lead responses to potential threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Hardening Security: Administer endpoint protection, email security, identity management, and conditional access.

Audits & Training: Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts while assisting with company-wide cybersecurity awareness training.

Tier 1–3 Support: Provide comprehensive hardware, software, network, and application support to both technical and non-technical end users.

Lifecycle Management: Own the employee onboarding/offboarding technical process, hardware provisioning, and software lifecycle management.

Tool Management: Oversee support ticketing via Freshworks/Freshdesk and utilize Atera (or similar RMM tools) for system monitoring, automation, and endpoint management.

Telecommunications: Administer VoIP phone systems, managing call quality, routing, provisioning, and vendor relations.

Technical Writing: Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and SOPs.

Projects & Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, drive automation (via PowerShell), and lead infrastructure upgrade projects.
Requirements

Advanced experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.

Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.

Familiarity with established cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability management tools.

Active industry certifications, such as:

Microsoft 365 / Azure Administrator Associate

Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist

CompTIA Network+ / Security+

Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Network Administration, Systems Administration, or a related enterprise IT infrastructure role.

Environment: Demonstrated experience supporting fully remote users and distributed, multi-site environments.

OS Expertise: Advanced proficiency in supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
Must-have hands-on experience with the following stack:

Cloud & Identity: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Intune.

Hardware & Networking: Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti networking solutions, and enterprise VoIP systems.

ITSM & RMM: Freshworks/Freshdesk and Atera (or equivalent Remote Monitoring & Management platforms).

Security: Advanced knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, phishing protection, and email security protocols.

Communication: Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-technical users.

Problem-Solving: Exceptional, methodical troubleshooting skills across cloud, network, and hardware layers.

Autonomy: Highly self-motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently in a 100% remote setting.
