Role: Senior Accountant- Property Management
Priority Location: Philippines
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM (Mon - Fri) US Pacific Time
Salary Range: USD 1,500 - 2,000 per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

About the Role: Our offshore team receives paid time off and discretionary bonuses throughout the year in recognition of strong performance.
We are seeking an experienced Residential Senior Accountant to support our U.S.-based real estate and property management accounting team. This offshore role will manage a portfolio of multifamily properties and assist with high-level staff accountant responsibilities to ensure accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting. Experience with AppFolio is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned residential properties
- Perform full month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts, property allocations, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity
- Review and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
- Maintain tenant ledgers and support rent rolls, collections, and lease administration
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis
- Support property onboarding and new entity setup in Appfolio
- Assist with investor reporting, owner distributions, and supporting schedules
- Provide documentation for audits, tax preparation, and internal reviews
- Identify process improvements and support cross-functional accounting initiatives
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with property accounting software (Appfolio REQUIRED)
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of residential or property management accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and property-level accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in AppFolio (required)
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with a U.S.-based team
- Participate in special projects, process improvements, and cross-departmental initiatives as needed
- Experience using OneDrive
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with QuickBooks
Education & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required.
- At least five years of related work experience as a senior accountant.
