We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriter with factoring experience to join our underwriting team.
As a Junior Underwriter, you will play a key role in assessing the creditworthiness of prospective clients and evaluating risk associated with factoring transactions. You will support funding decisions through accurate financial analysis, documentation review, and collaboration with internal teams.
The ideal candidate has underwriting or receivables financing experience, strong analytical ability, and a solid understanding of factoring structures.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Analyze client financials, including invoices, accounts receivable, and credit reports to assess eligibility for invoice purchasing
- →Evaluate risk and provide recommendations on credit limits and funding approvals
- →Verify and validate documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
- →Prepare underwriting reports and present findings to senior underwriters or management
- →Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support smooth client onboarding and timely funding
- →Monitor active client portfolios to identify risk indicators and recommend corrective actions
- →Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to factoring
Requirements
~1 min read- Prior experience in factoring or accounts receivable financing is essential
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and credit data
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis tools, and CRM systems
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field (preferred)
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and ability to meet tight deadlines
