Our client is building an in-house creative team to produce best-in-class ad creatives for its growing portfolio of ecommerce brands. The team operates in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where creative output directly impacts revenue.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly skilled Video Editor with strong performance marketing instincts and experience creating conversion-focused ad creatives.
This role is not just about making videos look good, it's about creating ads that stop the scroll, hold attention, and drive conversions.
You’ll work closely with the Creative Strategist to turn structured briefs into high-performing video and static creatives for Meta platforms, while leveraging AI tools to improve creative quality, speed, and scalability.
You will take structured creative briefs and turn them into high-performing ad creatives.
This role is about performance, not just editing skill.
You should understand:
- What makes someone stop scrolling
- What keeps them watching
- What drives clicks and conversions
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high-performing video ads for Meta platforms
- Execute creative briefs with speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail
- Optimize creatives for:
- Hooks (first 1–3 seconds)
- Retention
- Engagement
- Conversion
- Produce multiple creative variations for testing
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data
- Stay current on trends in short-form and direct-response content
- Collaborate closely with strategists and the creative team
- Proven experience editing performance-driven ads (DTC/ecommerce preferred)
- Strong understanding of direct-response creative and conversion-focused storytelling
- Ability to create compelling hooks and fast-paced edits
- Experience producing high-quality work in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Coachable, reliable, and highly responsive to feedback
- High ownership mentality with consistent execution
