We’re now looking for a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our investment team. This role offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to develop into Head of Investments as the company grows.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional, with at least CFA Level 2, to gain hands-on experience in one of the most fascinating corners of the investment world.
Responsibilities
~1 min readYou will be responsible for ensuring that every investment decision is backed by rigorous analysis and that our existing portfolio is managed using institutional-grade processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- →Leading financial and commercial due diligence for existing and prospective partners
- →Evaluating new investment opportunities across multiple alternative asset classes
- →Analysing exit opportunities and providing recommendations
- →Managing the monthly valuation process across the entire asset portfolio
- →Conducting recovery analyses for underperforming assets and proposing action plans
- →Building financial models, investment cases and decision papers for management
- →Continuously improving our analytical frameworks, valuation methodologies, processes and internal tools
- →Working closely with management on strategic investment decisions
Requirements
~1 min readThis is not a traditional analyst role. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building structured processes and continuously improving how things are done.
You should have:
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A highly structured and organised way of working
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field
- CFA Program: Minimum Level II passed, with Level III or Charterholder strongly preferred
- 2-6 years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, private equity, investment banking, consulting, asset management or a similar analytical role
Nice to Have
- Experience valuing alternative assets or illiquid investments
- Knowledge of financial markets and portfolio management
- Experience working with SQL, Python, Excel or similar analytical tools
- Experience designing analytical processes and reporting frameworks
