We’re hiring for a Quality Cable & Harness Inspector position in San Antonio, TX. The schedule is on first shift, fulltime availability for a 6-month contract. If you have a passion for cable harnesses and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections onsite at a client supplier

Perform "Power On" inspections of aircraft

Ensure products meet quality and specification standards

Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications

Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)

Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects

Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances

Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules

Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized

Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods

Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields

Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components

Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)

Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills

Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620

Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering

Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing

Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
