Assistant General Manager - Newport, KY

• →Drive store performance by supporting sales, profit, and business development goals.
• →Coach, develop, and hold retail team members accountable for customer service, merchandising, and product knowledge standards.
• →Oversee day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, labor management, and operational efficiency.
• →Monitor store systems and facilities to ensure safe and effective operation.
• →Track progress against store objectives and collaborate with the General Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.
• →Support bar operations and provide hands-on customer engagement throughout the store when required.

• Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze data, manage priorities, and coordinate store operations effectively.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and team motivation skills.
• Knowledge of cigars or the cigar industry is an advantage but not required.
