We’re hiring a Senior Sales Commission Analyst to play a key role in how we scale by translating compensation plans into systems that are accurate, automated, and easy to use. In this role, you will own and evolve our incentive compensation platform (CaptivateIQ), while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and RevOps to ensure payouts are correct, data flows seamlessly, and reporting is accessible across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and improving systems, working through complex problems, and seeing the direct impact of their work on the business.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company and we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own and maintain the incentive compensation system (CaptivateIQ), translating compensation plans into scalable system configurations
- Configure and optimize commission structures to ensure accurate calculations and efficient performance
- Support the quarterly commission cycle, including calculations, validation, and auditing
- Build and maintain reporting that provides visibility into payouts and performance for Sales and leadership
- Partner with Sales, Finance, RevOps, and People teams to ensure accurate data flow across systems
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, data organization, and automation
- Support ad hoc analysis and projects related to sales compensation
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales finance, or a related function
- Experience with commission tools such as CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Everstage, Varicent, or similar
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to work through complex compensation structures
- Experience working in high-growth or scaling environments
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with different teams
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and strong problem-solving skills
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
