The Senior Service Manager will directly manage Service Managers and oversee the Service Industrial/Utility Department.

About the Role

The Senior Service Manager is a senior‑level leader responsible for driving the financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth of the service organization. This role provides portfolio‑level oversight across multiple projects, teams, and markets, with full accountability for profitability, resource planning, risk management, and client satisfaction.

The Senior Service Manager serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, finance, IT, and external stakeholders—translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, scaling systems and processes, and developing high‑performing Service Manager leaders.

  • Lead development and oversight of departmental and project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and proactively adjust forecasts to protect profitability.
  • Contribute to long‑term financial planning and growth strategies in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Support investment decision‑making through data‑driven analysis and forecasting.
  • Forecast workforce needs, including manpower by role, organizational changes, vehicle requirements, and projected gross profit.
  • Lead annual planning and performance reviews to ensure capacity, resources, and financial targets are aligned with business strategy.
Operational And Project Management Excellence
  • Apply structured project management frameworks and best practices to ensure initiatives are delivered on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Balance resources and priorities across multiple initiatives to drive consistent, predictable outcomes.
Sales And Customer Partnership
  • Partner with Service team to strengthen the connection between operational performance, customer satisfaction, and new business growth.
  • Support the organization through customer engagement, joint calls, and operational expertise as needed.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of pricing policies, procedures, and margin expectations.
  • Ensure service operations comply with applicable electrical, security, and industry codes and standards.
  • Oversee permitting requirements where applicable and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and design support to Sales and Operations teams as requested.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related job experience.

Minimum 5 Years of relevant work experience required.
