Now Brewing – brand manager II, Global Coffee Alliance! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
Have you ever been delighted to find Starbucks coffee available where you work, at your favorite hotel, or while traveling? Starbucks Foodservice captures away-from-home beverage occasions beyond Starbucks coffeehouses and is active today in 50 markets worldwide. This business is part of the Global Coffee Alliance, formed between Nestle and Starbucks in 2018. Through strong collaboration with our Nestlé partners and internal teams, you will help define how Starbucks Foodservice shows up across the globe, creating strategies and tools that support growth and protect the brand.
Key global team priorities include: global strategy, partnership governance and planning, brand assets and marketing, menu strategy and beverage innovation, and operational excellence and compliance. As part of a truly global team, you will reach across time-zones and cultures to create strategies that empower teams around the world.
This leader must have a curiosity about global business and a growth mindset. They must be able to influence with impact, both within Starbucks, and with leadership at Nestle. A proven track record of developing strong relationships, leveraging strategic thinking, and successful prioritization and planning and are all paramount for success.
As a brand manager II, Global Coffee Alliance, you will…
* Drive strategy, partnership governance, and growth initiatives: Define the future of the program and our collaboration with Nestlé. Support strategic planning, governance forums, and business reporting. Articulate the role, growth potential, and future direction of the global Foodservice business.
* Manage a portfolio of initiatives that advance Foodservice growth and operational excellence. Depending on business priorities, initiatives may span strategy, innovation, operations, or compliance workstreams. Create tools and forums to track and communicate progress against key milestones. Define “ways of working” and communication cadence with Nestle counterpart teams based in Europe, as well as with Starbucks teams around globe.
* Drive operational excellence and business performance: Lead implementation and optimization of tools and processes that enable consistent execution across markets. Assess program effectiveness and implement scalable improvements that strengthen quality, compliance, and business performance.
* Lead problem-solving: Create frameworks and principles to guide decision making, considering consumer, brand, partnership, business, and operator lens.
We’d love to hear from people with:
* Progressive experience in brand management, business strategy, innovation, partnership management, or related commercial leadership roles (6-10 years).
* Experience identifying business opportunities and translating strategy into execution through cross-functional leadership, innovation, business development, operations, or program management roles
* Experience developing performance management frameworks, including establishing KPIs and milestones, evaluating program effectiveness, creating executive-level reporting, and driving accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to establish governance frameworks, portfolio management processes, and team “ways of working” that drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
* Familiarity with product, menu, innovation, or customer experience strategies, including translating business objectives into scalable solutions, growth initiatives, or operational frameworks.
* A global mindset and the ability to build relationships, drive alignment, and influence outcomes across teams, cultures, and time zones.
* Ability to live Starbucks mission and values and contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team culture.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
