Role Overview
The Operations Research Analyst (Journeyman) supports data-driven decision-making by developing analytical models, conducting quantitative analysis, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights. This role contributes to logistics, maintenance, cost, and readiness analysis supporting large-scale aviation sustainment and operational planning efforts.Apply mathematical modeling, optimization, and statistical methods to support decision-making
Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems
Develop analytical products, models, or tools to assess cost, schedule, logistics, and readiness outcomes
Support forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario evaluation
Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Work independently while collaborating with senior analysts and engineers
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field
3–15 years of professional experience in operations research, analytics, engineering, logistics, or a related discipline
