The Steiner Summer Internship program is designed for undergraduate students looking to launch a career in the electrical distribution industry. Through hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship, participants develop the sales and technical expertise needed to support contractor and industrial customers—while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

As a participant in our summer internship program, you will rotate through key areas of the business and gain real-world experience, including:

• →Supporting sales and operations teams in day-to-day activities
• →Learning product applications and technical solutions
• →Assisting with customer quotes, orders, and project coordination
• →Building relationships with contractor and industrial customers
• →Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve customer needs

• 3-month structured development program (June-August)
• Hands-on experience across sales, operations, and product specialties
• Exposure to contractor and industrial markets
• Mentorship from experienced industry professionals
• Real customer interaction and quoting experience

The Summer Internship program is a 90-day program for rising Juniors/Seniors to develop foundational industry and sales or technical skills and evaluate for participation in our college development program upon graduation. The program will consist of three possible tracks: Contractor Sales, Industrial Sales, or Technical Product Specialist.
