SRT (Street Racing Technology) Student Program - Technical

STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT    

This student program will follow an in-person model. Students will be based onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters & Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.  Students are expected to work 24 hours per week, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months, students may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management’s discretion. Student program cohorts start on a quarterly basis in January, April, June, and September, and students are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the student to provide valuable contributions. Students experience a sense of personal accomplishment and learn about the corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and exclusive student networking events.  

Student Employee roles are available within SRT Vehicle Engineering, SRT Propulsion Systems, and SRT Motorsports. 

In In a SRT Vehicle Engineering role at Stellantis, you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the Automotive industry. SRT Vehicle Engineering is responsible for leading development and validating high performance halo vehicles for all Stellantis brands.    Your assignment will include the opportunity to work on new vehicle applications with best-in-class performance with the latest technologies and features to exceed our customers’ expectations. 

In an SRT Propulsion Systems role at Stellantis, you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the automotive industry. By joining us, you will design, develop, test and deliver the next era of high-performance propulsion systems in halo vehicles

In an SRT Motorsports role at Stellantis, you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the North American Motorsports industry. SRT Motorsports is responsible for leading the engineering and technical direction of all North American Motorsports engagements within Stellantis. The group works collaboratively linking internal resources with external engineering partners and our race teams. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university 

• Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at the time of hire  

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications  

• Able to work 24 hours per week, year-round  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university   

• Strong written and verbal communication skills  

• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team  

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organization levels and with external partners  

• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment  

• Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations  

• Previous internship experience  

• Strong data analysis skills  

• Strong interest in the automotive industry and new technologies  

• Creative and innovative thinking
