The Implementation Specialist will review all RFP’s with an expected revenue above $250,000 to provide accurate responses to customer questions highlighting ODP Business Solutions’ abilities and our capability to seamlessly integrate business by providing the solutions that will have the best impact for the customer and their end users. The Specialist will participate is Customer Sales Meetings to present ODP Business Solutions’ implementation process to new customers and effectively transition new business with no impact to their end users. This person will also ensure all internal resources are aligned and appropriate partnerships are created prior to the award of the business, allowing for up front customer interaction and relationship building. They will partner to develop strategic processes for continuous improvement of the Implementation Services team. This will include new project management processes, innovative project management tools and continued relationship building.

 

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership and Communication: Serve as the overall project lead and main contact throughout the integration and implementation process of new contracts. Lead communication with customers and internal partners, set expectations, communicate timelines, and ensure full understanding and progress of all projects.
  • Task Management and Risk Resolution: Own projects through completion by following up with task owners, documenting progress, and ensuring timely completion. Identify risks, implement resolutions, and clearly communicate customer expectations and program scope.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate and deliver training for both the sales team and customers to ensure successful implementation and understanding of solutions.
  • Status Updates and Escalation Management: Provide regular status updates to business partners, such as Sales Directors, while resolving escalated issues related to account structure, billing, ecommerce, and reporting.
  • Process Improvement and Revenue Generation: Streamline and improve implementation processes to maintain competitiveness and accelerate revenue generation.
  • Customer Solutions and Business Enhancements: Work with Sales Management to provide continued enhancements to existing business, ensuring cost-saving solutions and positive impacts for customers in a changing environment.

 

  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Business Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5
  • Type of Experience: Experience in project management and sales presentations
  • Special Certifications:  PMP (preferred)
  • Technical Competencies & Information Systems: MS Office Suite, CRM systems (preferably SalesForce.com)
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Must demonstrate an understanding of the industry, the current trends, and leverage that information to the benefit of ODP Business Solutions and the customer.
    • Experience and comfort in the sales process
    • Ability to communicate at all levels
    • Excellent presentation skills both virtual and in-person

*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of our physical locations, including, but not be limited to Boca Raton, Itasca, and Austin, will be required to work in the office a minimum of two days per week.
