Strategy Engineering & Consulting LLC is seeking a Process Engineer (3–10 years’ experience) to join our growing team. This role will support the design, procurement, and fabrication of equipment for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities, as well as emerging renewable energy projects.

As a Process Engineer, you will contribute to all phases of project execution — from conceptual design and detailed engineering to procurement support, fabrication, and field execution. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.

Responsibilities

  • Size, specify, and prepare datasheets for mechanical/process equipment (vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, blowers, utilities, etc.).

  • Perform engineering calculations including hydraulics, relief/vent sizing, PSV and control valve sizing, flare, vent, blowdown, and tank venting.

  • Prepare and review P&IDs, flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and offshore modification permit packages (SFDs, SAFE charts, fire & gas layouts, permit letters).

  • Conduct engineering studies, dispersion studies, hazard/risk assessments, debottlenecking analyses, and regulatory compliance checks (BSEE, USCG, ABS).

  • Coordinate with drafting/design teams to deliver accurate drawings and layouts.

  • Monitor and report progress against project scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Support regulatory submittals.
