Engineering Internship - Summer 2027

As an employee-owned engineering consulting firm, we tackle complex projects across aerospace, energy, industrial equipment, manufacturing, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

Our internship program is designed to provide meaningful hands-on experience, technical mentorship, and exposure to projects that make a real impact for clients around the world.

From day one, you'll contribute to projects that support critical industries and innovative technologies. Interns are treated as valuable members of the team and gain practical experience beyond typical internship assignments.

Work directly with Professional Engineers, subject matter experts, and technical leaders who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers.

SES engineers solve problems across multiple disciplines and industries. You'll gain insight into how engineering principles are applied in real-world consulting environments.

Many of our full-time engineers began their careers as interns. Exceptional interns may be considered for future internship opportunities or full-time employment upon graduation.

Depending on your discipline and project assignments, you may:

• →Support engineering analysis, testing, and consulting projects
• →Assist with data collection, technical calculations, and engineering evaluations
• →Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• →Participate in laboratory testing, field work, or inspections
• →Develop technical reports, presentations, and project documentation
• →Apply engineering principles to solve real client challenges
• →Present internship project results to company leadership and technical staff

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2030
• Strong academic performance and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Demonstrated leadership through projects, organizations, research, design teams, athletics, military service, or work experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Passion for engineering and continuous learning
