About the Role

Success Academy is looking for a Team Lead, People Operations, reporting to the Lead, People Operations. In this role, you will play a critical role in running and improving high-volume operational workflows while leading and developing a team. You will ensure that core processes are executed accurately and on time, and continuously improved to meet the needs of a fast-growing organization.

This role is fast-paced and requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. A key part of the role is identifying inefficiencies and simplifying, automating, and scaling how work gets done.

You will act as a strategic operator and people leader — owning core workflows, elevating team performance, and partnering cross-functionally to improve systems, processes, and the overall employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team, setting clear expectations and driving accountability behind data-informed results.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive issues, using judgment to resolve problems and drive decisions.

  • Own and improve core workflows across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal movement, and offboarding.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, surface challenges, and inform improvements.

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve team productivity.

  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all employee interactions.

  • Oversee high-volume pre-employment processes during peak hiring periods

  • Maintain the accuracy of employee data within systems such as Workday.

  • Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve systems.

  • Ensure processes are executed in line with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Build and maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures.

  • Standardize processes to support onboarding, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a similar fast-paced environment (People Operations or HR experience is a plus, but not required).

  • 1+ years of experience leading or mentoring others (formal or informal leadership).

  • Experience working with systems or tools to manage workflows, data, or ticketing (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, or similar platforms).

  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and improve how work gets done.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels.

  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. This position is not bonus eligible.

Compensation Range
$115,000$125,000 USD
