The Sales Ambassador is responsible for actively selling a high volume of Ascent ride tickets and related ticket offerings in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. This role is measured on consistent ticket sales volume, conversion, and revenue generation across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Upsell Ascent ride and add on tickets to guests accurately and efficiently
- →Identify upselling opportunities through guest interaction
- →Drive strong daily ticket sales volume and meet or exceed established sales targets across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals
- →Maintain strong knowledge of ticketing options, pricing structure (non-peak, peak, peak-plus), and daily availability
- →Engage with diverse groups of guests, explain ticket options, and recommend upgrades or add-ons when appropriate
- →Process transactions using the designated Point of Sale (POS) system in compliance with company policies
- →Maintain strong knowledge of ticketing options, pricing structure (non-peak, peak, peak-plus), and daily availability
- →Maintain a welcoming and enthusiastic disposition while engaging with guests
- →Resolve guest questions and concerns with courtesy and urgency
- →Support promotional efforts and encourage repeat visits or future purchases
- →Expected to stand and remain on feet for 90% of the work shift while performing the essential duties of the position
- →Collaborate closely with Guest Services and Security teams to manage guest flow and demand
- →Must be adaptable in sales approach by catering sales to guest interests
- →Utilize storytelling to engage guests and enhance sales experience
- →Required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Remain on feet approximately 90% of the work shift
- Move efficiently within the ticketing area and interact with guests throughout the day
- Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Requirements
~1 min read- Prior experience in sales, admissions, retail, hospitality, or attractions preferred
- Strong communication, persuasion, and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable being measured against sales targets and revenue goals
