The Senior Implementation Design Lead (SIDL) is a senior technical position responsible for supporting multiple complex projects and new business pursuits concurrently. The SIDL serves as a subject matter expert and provides overall technical oversight for standards and systems implementation, working closely with internal and external cross-functional teams. This includes conducting system assessments, defining requirements, leading design, configuration, development activities, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing guidance on system enhancements and optimizations.

In addition to implementation activities, the SIDL actively participates in defining and providing training and knowledge sharing, ensuring that the broader IT team and operational staff are well-versed in the technical functionality and capabilities of the implemented systems. The SIDL also collaborates with executive leadership teams to plan and execute strategic projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies, optimizing processes, and enhancing the overall performance of the company’s operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT similar field or 7+ years experience in an IT environment with a technical design background, required
• Experience in the implementation and support of business systems, required
• Considerable knowledge of logistics and supply chain marketplace, required
• Thorough knowledge of service functions, including deep and broad understanding or experience of a service function inside the context of a business unit
• Good verbal communication skills – ability to clearly present information through the spoken word; influence or persuade others through oral presentations in positive or negative circumstances; listens well.
• Good written communication skills – ability to write clearly and effectively present ideas and to document activities; to read and interpret written information
