The Purchasing Coordinator supports the team of Buyer/Planners, working with Asian suppliers.

This role is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Work hours are variable based on business need: 6:00am – 3:00pm or 12:00pm – 9:00pm, local time

• →Expedite deliveries as directed by the Buyer/Planners.
• →Facilitate the resolution of rejections due to product quality issues or procedural non-conformity.
• →Cross-check manifest quantities against the open purchase orders and identify discrepancies.
• →Work with suppliers to drive compliance to order quantities.
• →Obtain shipping and delivery information from our suppliers and enter the information into our ERP system.
• →Other tasks as assigned by manager

• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Associate Degree in Business; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Professional international business experience, including import/export.
• Strong Microsoft Excel (including vlookup & pivot tables) and Outlook skills.
• Touch-typing skills, speed and accuracy.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, easily adapt to changing situations, and work well under pressure.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Be highly motivated and able to excel with little direct supervision, producing tangible and measurable results.
• Be able to travel: This position requires overnight travel up to 25% of the time, inclusive of regional and international travel.
