WAREHOUSE AGENT-JETPAK-TOBAGO

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:

WAREHOUSE AGENT, JETPAK (TAB) (GRADE 1)

(CONTRACT POSITION)

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Agent will report directly to the Supervisor, Jetpak. The role involves coordinating and lodging shipment documentation and ensuring all shipments are prepared for clearance appointments. Responsibilities include unpacking pallets, picking and repacking items for screening, identifying and reporting discrepancies and ensuring all received packages are loaded for delivery to the warehouse. 

The incumbent will also be responsible for receiving and processing incoming packages, preparing deliveries according to the schedule, assisting with the transfer of packages to customer vehicles at pickup locations when necessary and managing returns. Additionally, the Warehouse Agent will conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate tracking and accountability of packages. This is a fixed-term contract position.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

1. Accountability: Ensures all customer packages are accounted for, takes in deliveries and checks for damaged or missing items, ensures items are stored correctly, pack, wrap and load items, to be dispatched in a timely manner.
2. Customer Service Delivery: Seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the customers' expectation and maintains the Caribbean Airlines Limited standard, for customer service to both internal and external customers, by ensuring all packages are located using RF Scanner.
3. Operational Effectiveness: Maintains the efficiency of the Department and the safety and cleanliness of the Warehouse at all times, while adhering to company safety guidelines.
4. Reporting: Ensures the delivery of accurate and timely reports and provides effective data analysis and feedback to management, to aid in the decision-making process:
   1. Clearance reports
   2. Inventory management
   3. Damages and/or missing items
   4. Cargo release reports
5. Customer Service: 

1. Seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the customers' expectations by keenly understanding and resolving requests in a professional and result-oriented manner.
2. Maintains the standards associated with the Service Level Agreements.
3. Communicates both timely and effectively.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• You must have at least one (1) year of experience in a similar role with familiarity of modern warehousing methods and practices.
• You must also possess a minimum of five (5) GCE/CXC/CSEC Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English or relevant combination of qualifications and experience.
• A Heavy T License would be considered an asset. 
• Basic proficiency in inventory software, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required
• You must also possess strong communication, customer service and numeracy skills.

The successful candidate must reside in Tobago.

The incumbent will be subject to pre-employment and Random Drug and Alcohol Testing. The candidate must satisfy the requirements of a Security Background Check.
