We are seeking a reliable and experienced Supervisor/Team Lead to oversee sorting, inspection, containment, and rework activities within an automotive manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous quality inspection and supervisory or team lead experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing setting. This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable taking responsibility for a team, and able to communicate clearly with employees and management.

Responsibilities

  • →Oversee containment, sorting, inspection, and rework activities within the facility
  • →Supervise and provide direction to employees assigned to specific jobs, tables, and workstations
  • →Ensure customer products are properly inspected and meet established quality requirements
  • →Coordinate shift-start activities, including workstation setup, paperwork, tools, materials, and job requirements
  • →Ensure all employees follow company safety policies and procedures
  • →Promote good housekeeping and maintain an organized work environment
  • →Report accidents, incidents, safety concerns, and policy violations to management
  • →Ensure end-of-shift activities are completed accurately, including paperwork, time sheets, audits, and shift-to-shift communication
  • →Provide on-the-job training and communicate new work instructions to employees
  • →Ensure appropriate tools, materials, and resources are available to complete assigned jobs
  • →Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to the Supervisor or Manager
  • →Maintain accountability for all personnel assigned to specific jobs
  • →Communicate clearly with employees, supervisors, managers, and customers as needed
  • →Support all company quality, safety, and productivity initiatives
  • →Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, dependability, and a strong work ethic

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience required; 3+ years preferred
  • Previous quality inspection experience required
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with sorting, inspection, containment, or rework is a plus
  • Ability to work 1st shift and remain flexible for additional hours, overtime, and weekends
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly instruct and train others
  • Basic math skills required
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned employees and operations
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
