Central Processing Tech - Per Diem

NorCal Orthopedic Surgery Center is seeking a Per Diem Central Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

The duties of the job include but are not limited to: 

• Receiving, cleaning, processing, assembling and distributing medical supplies, surgical instruments and surgical equipment.
• Prepares, assembles and packages all instruments required for surgery
• Sterilizes all instruments and supplies
• Maintains and operates all Central Sterile Equipment.
• Prioritizes work to meet the needs of the organization.
• Follows all department and organizational policies

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on the job experience.  
• Current basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
