Responsibilities

→Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
→Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
→Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards
→Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries
→Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns
→Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands
→Rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM

Requirements

Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required
Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in an orthopedic or ambulatory surgery setting
Strong working knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
