We’re currently hiring Veterinary Assistants for a weekend-focused schedule (Friday–Monday only) with part-time and full-time opportunities available.

• →Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, procedures, and treatments  

• →Provide high-quality nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients  

• →Take patient histories and record observations in medical records  

• →Perform phlebotomy, radiography, and in-house laboratory testing  

• →Administer medications and treatments as directed  

• →Educate and communicate with clients in a clear, compassionate manner  

• →Admit and discharge patients while ensuring a smooth client experience  

• →Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked hospital environment  

• Previous veterinary experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills  

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment  

• Confidence handling and restraining animals safely  

• A positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic  

• Genuine passion for animal care and a desire to grow in the field  

• Weekend-focused role: Friday through Monday strongly preferred.  Weekdays days open to be discussed 

• Part-time or full-time opportunities available  

• Flexibility to support multiple Heart of Chelsea locations when needed
