Urgently Hiring Part-Time Morning Caregivers

Tandem Care is hiring caregivers for our Targeted Care team. This role is ideal for caregivers who are specifically looking for morning hours and enjoy staying active throughout the day. Instead of spending an entire shift with one client, you'll support several seniors in their homes through shorter, meaningful visits that help them remain independent and safe.

We're currently hiring caregivers who are available during the morning hours, typically between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, or 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

• $20–$22/hr starting pay

• Guaranteed hours after 60 day probation period

• Raises every 6 months + retention bonuses

• Full benefits: PTO, sick time, 401(k) with match, 75% company-paid medical, dental, vision

• No weekends, no late nights

• Weekday shifts only

• See 3-4 clients/day, with visits lasting 45 mins–2 hrs

• Provide personal care, companionship, household help, and transportation

• Team-based support, steady communication, no waiting for your next assignment

• Have a car, valid license, and auto insurance in your name

• Don’t mind traffic, parking, or day-to-day schedule changes

• Only want long shifts or expect overtime every week

• Prefer to choose your own clients or decline certain types of care

• Like working alone and don’t want to be part of a collaborative team

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California

  • Must be registered with the state, have passed your Live Scan background check, and be listed as active

• Consistent availability Monday-Friday (more availability = more hours)

• iPhone or Android smartphone (work apps are required)

• Active driver's license, auto insurance with yourself listed as the driver and your own car to transport clients in

• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task (quick, reliable responses are expected)

• Proven reliability—if your last employer would say you called out often, this role isn’t the right fit
