Tangram Flex is seeking a reliable, mission focused Collaboration Platform Administrator. This is a full-time in-person position at WPAFB that supports both local and geographically dispersed Air Force and Navy teams.  In this role, you will assist in the daily administration, support, and maintenance of applications in our enterprise collaborative development environment. Working closely under the guidance of the technical lead, you will help ensure highly available, secure, and scalable solutions for the program.  This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who excels in hands-on system maintenance and user support, working in direct partnership with Senior Systems/Software Engineers to keep critical defense pipelines running smoothly.

POSITION DESCRIPTION /
The Collaboration Platform Administrator is a critical, mission-enabling role within a modern engineering environment that enables end-to-end requirement traceability, development integration, and secure user collaboration across the enterprise. Operating within both Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and higher security level enclaves, this position delivers advanced administration, governance, and user support for an integrated digital engineering toolchain—including tools such as Jama Connect, Atlassian Data Center applications (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), and GitLab repositories. Acting as the secondary Security Point of Contact (POC) for these platforms, this position will assist with ensuring all tool configurations, workflows, and access controls strictly align with applicable security policies, compliance procedures, and role-based permissions. Serving in a highly collaborative capacity, the candidate will partner with systems engineering, software development, cloud infrastructure, and program management teams to resolve cross-platform issues via a Jira Service Desk ticketing system. By actively engaging geographically separated Air Force, Navy, and stakeholder teams, this role supports the program’s technical lead in delivering a highly available, scalable, and fully documented digital ecosystem that directly aligns with mission-critical program objectives.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES /
Primary Responsibilities:
●    Support administrative duties for digital engineering and support tools
●    Provide troubleshooting, guidance, and support to users
●    Maintain requirements workflows that support end-to-end traceability links across Digital Engineering tools and processes
●    Provide stakeholder engagement and customer support for geographically separated teams, facilitating communication, gathering requirements, tracking issues, and communicating system changes
●    Support tool operations within multiple security level environments in accordance with applicable organizational security, access, and handling procedures
●    Serve as the secondary security point of contact for digital engineering tools; assist in coordinating security-related requirements, access management, compliance activities, and issue resolution at all applicable organizational levels
●    Develop and maintain process documentation, such as including standard operating procedures, system configuration documentation, onboarding materials, workflow diagrams, configuration records, troubleshooting guides, and user-reference materials
●    Support training, onboarding, and recurring user engagement activities for new and existing system users
●    Participate in regular administration team meetings to prioritize user support requests, operational issues, system enhancements, and maintenance activities


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE /
Required:

●   Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Systems, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)

●   Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
●    2+ years of experience with requirement management software (preferably Jama Connect)
●    2+ years of experience with work management software (preferably Atlassian’s Jira & Confluence)
●    2+ years of experience working with Jira service desk ticketing system
●    Experience administering user accounts, roles, permissions, and project-level access controls
●    Experience performing security audits within DoD CUI and Secret environments

●    Daily work location at WPAFB, Fairborn, Ohio

●   This position's travel requirements are approximately 10% – 15%

Preferred :
●    2+ years of experience with Jira/GitLab integration
●    Experience with requirements traceability, workflow configuration, baselining, review/approval processes, and reporting
●    Tool Integration: Technical proficiency in using Jama’s REST API or ReqIF for data exchange between platforms.
●    Current CompTIA Security+ certification
●    Experience using integration tools (Jama Connect Interchange, Planview, Cameo DataHub, & GitLab)
●    Experience practicing Agile methodologies
Physical Requirements:
●    Ability to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods
●    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours/day)
●    Ability to lift and carry lightweight items (e.g., laptops, demo equipment, marketing materials) up to 25 lbs
●    Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, using a mouse, writing, and handling equipment
●    Visual acuity to read detailed technical documents, view computer screens, and operate software systems
●    Auditory ability to participate in meetings, customer demos, and conference calls, including in potentially noisy environments (e.g., trade shows or military facilities)
●    Mobility to move between office spaces, customer sites, conference venues, and manufacturing or lab environments
●    Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments (e.g., corporate offices, government buildings, industrial or lab spaces)
