Position Overview
We are seeking a contract writer to develop and write a Christ-centered book focused on navigating social media and digital spaces wisely. We are open to different conceptual directions for this resource, including, but not limited to:
- A formational, theology-of-technology book that examines how social media affects our attention, desires, and identity, offering a vision for faithful digital discipleship.
- A highly practical guide or handbook that addresses specific digital struggles, such as navigating digital distraction, setting healthy boundaries/screen time rhythms, dealing with online conflict and outrage, or curating a life-giving, Christ-honoring online presence.
- A well-researched, data-backed guide book that bridges the intersection of science and biblical truth. This project would examine the verified psychological, neurological, and sociological impacts of digital media consumption and integrate those scientific insights with Scripture to offer an evidence-based, biblically grounded roadmap for holistic digital health.
The ideal project will combine sharp cultural insight with rich biblical truth to offer genuine gospel hope, wisdom, and freedom for the digital age.
Scope of Work
- Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words)
- Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision
- Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment
Commitment
Contract, per-project basis.
Compensation
Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity.
