When you apply here, you are applying to TEECOM for a role in Technical Project Management. Rather than interviewing for a single posted role, you will go through a structured Discipline Assessment that establishes your level and demonstrated capability. Roles span Technical Project Manager I through Technical Project Manager III. Your level — and your title — are determined by your assessment, not by the role you apply to.

If you have meaningful experience in more than one discipline, apply to your primary discipline and tell your recruiter about your secondary discipline(s) during your Introduction Call. You may be scheduled for a separate Discipline Assessment for each one.

Technical Project Managers at TEECOM are the primary point of contact for client accounts — they own the relationship, the technology scope, and the delivery across multiple concurrent projects. This is a client-facing, field-active role: TPMs spend significant time on-site managing the technology scope of active projects alongside construction teams, contractors, and client stakeholders.

TPMs are not pure project managers — they bring genuine technical depth in at least one discipline (ICT/Telecom, Security, AV, Wireless, or similar) and use that expertise to make real-time decisions in the field, review deliverables for quality, and maintain client trust through construction and commissioning. Work spans managing design team coordination, leading client meetings, driving construction administration, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and ensuring projects close out cleanly.

At more senior levels, Technical Project Managers take ownership of major accounts with multiple active projects, mentor junior TPMs and engineers, and contribute to growing the account and TEECOM's presence with the client.

We hire at all levels — the strongest Technical Project Managers are proactive, coachable, and take ownership of client relationships and outcomes: they're as comfortable with a stakeholder as they are in the field, they don't wait for problems to find them, they own the commercial and technical outcomes of every project they run, and they're always thinking about what comes next — growing the partnership, not just closing the project.

If you don’t have everything on this list yet, that’s expected — TEECOM develops people through structured documentation, mentorship, and real project work.

Technical background in at least one technology discipline (ICT/Telecom, Security, AV, Wireless, or similar) — you can review drawings, discuss design decisions, and troubleshoot issues in the field
Experience managing technology consulting or AEC projects through the full lifecycle — design, construction administration, and commissioning
Comfort being on-site regularly — this role requires field presence across active projects
Client-facing ownership — you manage the relationship directly and are accountable for project outcomes
Strong commercial and financial management skills — managing scope, contracts, budgets, schedules, and risk
Strong technical communication skills — you translate technical issues into clear decisions and coordinate across disciplines, clients, and contractors
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across a single client account or portfolio
Degree in any four-year engineering discipline, construction project management, technology management, or a related technical field — or equivalent hands-on experience
PMP certification or equivalent — preferred
